Manta [97f!7]
Tourist guide Damian Young, 47, was on a boat trip in the stunning Raja Ampat archipelago, Indonesia, when he and his clients had a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
From their boat, the group spotted a huge white manta swimming through the pristine waters.
They enjoyed a clear view of the extremely rare wild animal as it swam in circles, slamming the water with its huge fins and even performing a back flip.
Damian said: “We were having some drinks and watching the sunset and dolphins when she turned up.
“It must have been five or six metres across, and at first we thought it was swimming upside down because of its colour.
“Not sure if it was albino or just a white oceanic manta, either way it was an extremely rare encounter and we had never seen anything like it.
“Obviously we were all blown away.”
